The Barkly Square Communi-Tea Fest, will be held on Saturday 15 November 10am - 2pm, at 25 Barkly St, Ballarat East.
This will be a very special FREE event offering a peek inside the doors of Barkly Square, plus the chance to meet the 30+ community-driven tenants, who are hosting a stack of fun family-friendly activities.
This all-inclusive open day celebration will also draw awareness of the massive impact the tenants make in Ballarat.
Part of the fun will include the launch of our new permanent teapot inspired Communi-Tea art installation, in Barkly Square rear courtyard.
The Barkly Square tenant committee is excited to bring everyone together as we welcome the public to celebrate community connections over the theme of sharing a cup of tea.
Visitors will experience what a magical space it is; a unique hub of community-minded services with extra features such as the vibrant social enterprise Our Social Kitchen Cafe, First Nations Women's Yarning Garden, Grow & Thrive multicultural gardens, with the hub itself surrounded by beautiful historic gardens.
Devonshire Tea will be served in the cafe, gold coin donation BBQ, plus many entertaining & fun fundraising activities, and of course LOTS of cups of tea!
Come along, be inspired, meet the tenants, and tap into the goodness of the space to embrace the Communi-Tea spirit.
